LEAD PASTOR SEARCH
LEAD PASTOR SEARCH
Wellspring Church is looking for a new Lead Pastor!
Below, you will find a brief description of why the position is open, some information about the
church, a job description, and a section on how to apply.
Why is the position open? Our founding pastor got a call. Yup, that is the short of it. He took a call that led to a job in New Hampshire, where he grew up. Did he hate this job? Nope, he is the one writing this section. He loved this job and took less money, and moved in with his parents for a short time to be obedient to God. This job is AWESOME. The elders are good, gracious, and supportive. The people? World class. This was the hardest decision the lead pastor (writing this) has ever had to make. So, in short, it’s open because God moved the pastor, and now an AMAZING church is looking for an amazing shepherd.
A little about the church: Wellspring Church is located in Toms River, New Jersey. It is a church plant of Bayside Chapel in Barnegat,
New Jersey. It is affiliated with Converge MidAtlantic. We launched in 2017. In the first 18 months, we were in about 5 locations, so nomadic! We finally leased a spot downtown, a spot that happens to be the basement of an office building. Hey, we got a good deal! Our focus has never been a building, it has ALWAYS and ALWAYS will be loving on our community. We exist to ignite a craving for Jesus by relentlessly loving our community. If that statement doesn’t fire you up to love messy, unreached, hurting people, then you are simply not a good fit. But if leading a group of people to draw closer to Jesus with a burning passion to see others come to Jesus fires you up, then keep reading.
