Take Two at Wellspring Church

Take Two is a one-year one on one discipleship program at Wellspring Church. Take Two relationships focus on spiritual growth and mentorship. The goal is that a mentee will end their time and be able to transition into leading someone as a Take Two mentor.

Expectations of a Take Two Mentor?

  • Make a one-year commitment to their mentee
  • Schedule and hold one, 90minute meeting per month. (12-months, 4th week of every month)
    • First half - review leader guide of Disciples Path
    • 5 Discipleship Questions
    • Prayer and review for the following month
  • Send two emails per month, a recap of the previous meeting, and a reminder for the next meeting. (Email templates will be provided)
  • Select 5 discipleship questions per meeting to cover during their one on one time (A list of questions will be provided)
  • Once a quarter, schedule one social activity
    • Attend a CKA together
    • Something fun 
  • Monthly follow up with a staff assigned leader

Expectations of a Take Two Mentee?

  • Make a one-year commitment as a mentee
  • Purchase the Disciples Path study guide ($10.00)
  • Complete the monthly assigned homework
    • Disciples Path study guide
    • Scripture reading and questions each day
  • Attend 12, 90minute meetings with their mentor
    • Go over completed homework
    • Open to answer discipleship questions and follow through on any action steps
  • Respond to emails from their mentor
  • Attend four scheduled social activities 
  • Answer a survery at the 6-month mark of your Take Two relationship
  • Answer an exit survey at the 12-month mark of your Take Two relationship

How can someone become a Take Two Mentor? 

  • Be a Wellspring Partner
  • Has completed Leadership Intensive Training
  • Can maintain the commitments
  • Approved by the staff 

How can some become a Take Two Mentee?

  • Be attending a Life Group
  • Be volunteering
  • Can maintain the commitments
  • Willing to purchase study guide ($10.00)

This form is to be filled out by a leader who believes they have identified someone who is ready to be a Take Two Mentee or someone who would like to be recommended. 

All Take Two relationships will be approved by the staff.
